Homecoming Court nominees introduced

As the sun set on Friday, October 4th, the Homecoming Court nominees walked onto Trojan Field with their families to be introduced to the community for their accomplishments and receive a rose for their nomination.

The categories for nomination were Most Spirited, Done Most, Most Talented, Most Athletic and Homecoming King and Queen.

Daniel Gardarsson, Wyatt Lohaus, Devin Raffensperger, Hannah Fairfield, Lizzy Klemme and Mollie Mason were nominated for Most Athletic. Jeremiah Anthony, Blake Oetting, Connor Schueler, Meredith Arpey, Emily Starman and Shirley Wang were nominated for Done Most for West High School. Grant Ewing, Walter Robles, Olaf Sunleaf, Kelcie Kraft, Lilly Pypes and Bethany Zimmerman were nominated for Most Spirited. For Most Talented, Paul Curry, Ben Dellos, Yannik Encarnacao, Maya Bassuk, Kristina Bauer and Emilia Szmyrgala were nominated.

For Homecoming King, Nate Boland, Cole Hatsky and Ben Troester were nominated. For Homecoming Queen, Fiona Armstrong-Pavlik, Alli Peterson and Adrienne Jensen were nominated.

The winners will be announced October 5th during West High’s Homecoming Dance, which will be held from 7:30-10:30pm at the Coralville Marriott.
