Swimming and diving team celebrates their last home meet

Swimming+and+diving+team+celebrates+their+last+home+meet+

The girls swimming and diving team honored their seniors during their last home meet on Oct. 15. The girls won their meet against Dubuque Hempstead by almost 100 points. Homemade posters lined the walls with photos from previous seasons. Parents and spectators celebrated with cake.

The girls will be traveling to the Marshalltown YMCA to swim and dive in the State Championship meet this Saturday. Eleven swimmers and three divers qualified for the meet. Lilian Zhu ’14 is seeded in second place in the 100 backstroke at the meet and Jacintha Thomas ’15 is ranked 2nd for diving.
