Veridian Credit Union is partnering with West to create a display of student-created art, made possible by Veridian’s ArtShare program.  West High art teachers chose 25 pieces to be displayed at the Coralville Veridian branch at 704 2nd St., where the pieces will remain for one year. The premiere of the display will be held  on March 2 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The ArtShare program was created to celebrate and give a public forum for local student-artists.

“ArtShare partnerships benefit everyone involved,” said Veridian Branch Manager Emily Feagins. “While it’s valuable for the artists to have a public audience, the students’ work makes our branch a more inviting place. We couldn’t be more excited to bring ArtShare to Coralville.”

ArtShare partners with other schools across the state as well, including schools in Ankeny, Cedar Rapids, Waverly and Waterloo.
