Obama visits Iowa City

With Mitt Romney’s nomination as the Republican presidential candidate looking inevitable, the race for the 2012 office has come down to two men. Both are traveling the nation to campaign to voters and get their respective messages across. One issue on which both will be discussing in the upcoming weeks is the issue of increased interest on student loans. Barack Obama, the democratic candidate, made a stop in Iowa City today to talk of his stance on the issue and how he will work to make his ideas become reality. The West Side Story went down to the University of Iowa’s field house to see the speech and snap some pictures of the president along with some of the spectators of the event!
