Board Games Club update

By Fiona Armstrong-Pavlik

Every Monday afternoon, fun-loving students at West gather in Mrs. Shullaw’s classroom to play a variety of board games and enjoy snacks.

Starting a board games club was not the first idea co-presidents Eleni Katz ’14 and Ben Dellos ’14 had. Originally, the two juniors wanted to start a Greek club; however, they decided against it because of its limited appeal.

“We thought board games were something everyone could enjoy,” said Dellos.

For Katz, Board Games Club serves as a way to meet a variety of new people. Even though there have only been a couple of meetings and it is the club’s first year, Board Games Club has members in all grades.

“New members are always welcome,” said Katz.

Board Games Club will meet tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 in room 124.
