Friends of Journalism donations are tax deductible and help pay for newsroom equipment, repairs, contest fees, website support fees, scholarship yearbooks and more. The West Side Story newspaper and the Trojan Epic yearbook will list names of all Friends of Journalism donors:

–The Lead: donors of $51-100
–The Feature: donors of $101-250
–The Headliner: donors of $251-499
–The Journalism Legend: donors of $500+
DISCOUNTS:
-Take 10% off when you purchase both a newspaper and yearbook ad.

AD COPY DEADLINES:
-For yearbook ads, our ad deadline is January 31, 2023. Ad space may be available after that date, but is only guaranteed for orders received by that date.
-For newspaper ads, our ad deadline is 10 days before publication (although sooner is better).
-For web ads, submit and pay for ads online at snoads.com/site/516.
READERSHIP:
-We distribute our newspaper for free to all students and faculty at West High and deliver hundreds of copies to local businesses, schools and Free Little Libraries. We also publish all newspaper issues online: issuu.com/westsidestory. According to Google Analytics, wsspaper.com has an average of 6,000 unique monthly users and 36,000 views per month. We sell the yearbook to an average of 54% of students and include copies in the West library and some classrooms.
