West students were busy decorating classrooms on Friday (4/13) before school. Each grade took over one classroom and decorated it, trying to outdo the other grades and win the Clash of the Classes competition. On Friday April 13 and Saturday April 14, Theatre West will put on its production of Almost, Maine. As a drama, it is different than many other West productions and has a small cast. Almost, Maine takes the audience through the lives of couples and friends from a small town. In some cases romance blooms and in others, it ends.

Local Iowa City residents took over the Ped Mall Monday night, in an effort to show their outrage and frustration involving the controversial shooting and killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin. The march, which started at 6:30, was accompanied by various speakers hoping to show their support of the movement.
