Nelson Brands ’18 has successfully moved on from the first round of voting for the Dan Gable Mr. Wrestler Award and needs the help of voters to move onto the final round where a committee will vote on the winner. To advance, Brands needs to remain in the top three. Brands has been a serious contender for this award due to his continued dominance in the Iowa High School State Wrestling Meet as a two-time state champion.
