“My biggest fear is easily a school shooting. I see them in the news and they happen in average towns, usually at schools like ours. There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t wonder if i’m going to get shot today. Every time I hear a scream or a bang, even if it’s my own locker that’s immediately what my mind goes to. I have to remind myself to calm down and take slow deep breaths,” said Isabelle Paulsen ’21
