Behind the Cover: Indigenous in ICCSD

WSS staffers discuss what happened behind the scenes of the November issue cover story, “Indigenous in ICCSD.”

In the first episode of Behind the Cover, WSS staffers Kailey Gee ’22, Hanah Kitamoto ’22, Ella Rosenthal ’21 and Rosemary Timmer-Hackert ’23 walk through the process of creating the November issue’s cover page.

First, designer Rosenthal gathered inspiration and pitched it to the team. After a couple revisions, called rounds, the staffers settled on a landscape theme compared to the previous idea centered on people imagery.
