ICCSD announced via email March 23 that the “interim” tag will be dropped from Principal Mitch Gross’ title pending school board approval. Gross will be the fifth principal in West High’s history.
As Gross’ position becomes permanent, the principal reports he is excited to start planning for the future. His goals moving forward include creating a school environment where a larger portion of students at West can succeed.
“I think West is such an amazing place … it means a lot for me to have this building be as successful as it can be,” Gross said.
