Annie Schwartz '23 races in the 100-meter dash in a qualifying time of 12.59 seconds.
West High girls track team competed on May 11th in the state qualifier at Dubuque Senior High School. The team walked away with a total of 12 qualifying events, six of which were automatically qualified, and 15 athletes across the board. A tentative list of qualifiers was released by Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
The girls look to compete on all three days of the state championship, May 18th-20th. They will run four relays, five individual events and three field events. A live stream will be available for supporters to watch the athletes race. Information on tickets, the live stream and meet information can be found on the IGHSAU website.
