“I broke my nose when I was playing baseball once … I still caught the ball. After that, I came off the field, and my dad came over to the dugout to check on me. he was about to wipe the blood [off] to send me back out there but then, he saw my nose, and it was crooked. We went right in the car, right to the hospital. At the hospital they couldn’t tell us anything because it was too swollen. We scheduled an appointment to get [it] straightened surgically so I had to wear a cast over my nose. It was during school, but my gradparents sent me a picture where they covered their noses with a white piece of paper, which was kind of nice. I’m still pretty proud of that.” -Drew Peterson ’21
