West Side Story: Why are you running vice president?

Sunderland: Because no one in the arts department really ever runs and I want to have a chance to represent the underrepresented and give them a say.

Why should people vote for you?

Because usually the people who are chosen are popular and play sports and just have an ‘in’ with the popular group and no one from the underrepresented groups get their opinions out or word out about what they want to do for it, and I think it might be nice to have a change and see other people’s opinions who aren’t in the same cliche.
