With the conclusion of Banned Book week around the corner, the WSS looks at some of the most frequently challenged books. According to the American Library Association there were 464 challenges submitted to the Office for Intellectual Freedom.
“Banned Books Week is to let you all know what other people don’t want you to be see and reading. They want you to be aware of that so that you have the privilege to read these things,” Jennifer Scheivert said.
