All ads must be 300 dpi (PNG, JPEG, or PDF accepted).
- 1/8 page: 3.7” W × 2.375” H (horizontal)
- 1/4 page: 3.7” W × 4.75” H (vertical)
- 1/2 page: 7.5” W × 4.75” H (horizontal)
- Full page: 7.5” W × 9.7” H (vertical)
- Web ad: 728 × 90 pixels
Deadlines
Yearbook ads: due Jan. 1, 2027 (space not guaranteed after deadline)
Newspaper ads: due by noon two weeks before each issue:
- Issue date: 10/30/26 → Ad deadline: 10/15/26
- 12/18/26 → 12/3/26
- 2/12/27 → 1/28/27
- 4/9/27 → 3/25/27
- 5/27/27 → 5/13/27
Web ads: due one week before ad will be published
Space is limited; early submission is recommended to reserve placement.
Reach
The newspaper is distributed free to West High students and staff and to local businesses, schools, and Free Little Libraries. Issues are also published online at issuu.com/westsidestory.
Website traffic averages 6,000 unique users and 36,000 page views per month (Google Analytics). The yearbook is purchased by about 54% of students, with additional copies available in the library and select classrooms.
