Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense game in which players defend the narrator Crazy Dave’s lawn against a horde of zombies. In the third world, players encounter the Pool area. Two of the middle lanes are replaced by pool lanes and the game introduces an extra lane, giving six in total rather than five. Plants unlocked throughout the Pool are essential for defending the lawn because players can only plant aquatic plants or plants that are planted on top of a Lily Pad, which all unlocked within the world.
