From show choir to football playoffs to the government shutdown, keep up with West High, Iowa City, U.S. and global news this week in a short quiz. On Monday, West’s show choirs, Good Time Company and Showtime, hosted their annual Works in Progress show with City’s 4th Ave Jazz Company and Liberty’s Storm. On Tuesday, the volleyball team won the regional championships, heading to the state tournament on Monday, Nov. 3. This Friday, the football team will continue on its path to state.
