Returning to their home courts after last season’s 9-0 win over Kennedy, West boys tennis was ready for another meet. Prabhas Gupta ’28 and Matthew Dockery-Jackson ’28 opened strong with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 Doubles. Shortly after, Aryan Harwani ’29 and Pierce Hribar ’28 followed with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 Doubles. Aaron Kang ’27 and Jensen Lin ’27 also came through in a tiebreak, closing out their match with a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3) win at No. 2 Doubles.
In singles, Hribar defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-0. Alongside his win, Gupta and Kang clinched the meet for West with 6-1, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-2 wins, respectively. Lin and Ethan Ding ’28 defeated their opponents 6-2, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-3, respectively. After a closely contested tiebreak, Dockery-Jackson ultimately won his match 1-6, 7-6 (11-9), 1-0 (10-7), securing an 8-1 win for the Trojans.
