With Lululemon Athletica opening up in the North Marketplace district of downtown last week, new silver anchor logos could be popping up across the halls. The showroom will offer a limited selection of both men and women’s apparel and accessories and will offer weekly complimentary yoga classes.

Kate Van der Leest ’17 is one of many students looking forward to the new shop.

“I’m pumped that Iowa City finally has a Lululemon because now I don’t have to shop online or make a trek to Chicago to get some of my favorite clothes,” she said.
