Track and field teams head to “Blue Oval” for Drake Relays
The boys and girls track team will head to the 108th Drake Relays in Des Moines this Thursday through Saturday with 34 total qualifications
This Thursday through Saturday the track and field teams will head to the 108th annual Drake Relays held at Drake University in Des Moines. Tickets can be purchased outside of the stadium. The Drake Relays is a unique event, as all four classes are combined for the opportunity to compete against each other. To have qualified, athletes needed the best marks in the state so far this year in their event, with each event has a different number of qualifying athletes. Athletes are limited to compete in a maximum of four events. Below are the events contested at the Drake Relays with number of total qualifiers listed in parentheses.
