On the morning of homecoming, West High students woke up early to participate in the Ponseti Races, before the dance festivities began. The Ponseti Races are held to raise money for the club foot cure developed by Dr. Ponseti. This year’s races were held in honor of Caroline and Ellyn Found, as Dr. Ponseti was a colleague of Dr. Found. The event started off with Ernie Found releasing white doves. After this ceremony, Found and the volleyball team served as starters for the 5k and 10k runs.
