West High Robotics has started a fundraiser to raise money to help build robots and attend competitions. The fundraiser consists of selling FIRST ® Green e-watt saver LED light bulbs. The light bulbs only use 7 watts of electricity opposed to the traditional 40-watt incandescent bulb or 60-watt incandescent bulb.

These are a few of the many perks of the LED light bulbs

• Environmentally friendly
• Contain NO mercury or lead
• NO special disposal requirements
• On average lasts 9.1 years when used 3 hours a day
• Similar in size and shape of the traditional incandescent light bulbs

Money from the sales will benefit the Robotics team to buy materials to build robots and costs of entering and traveling to the one or two competitions during the spring.
