Women of Troy advance to state tournament
On Tuesday, Feb. 20 the girls basketball team traveled to Pleasant Valley.
With a 10 point lead at halftime, the girls basketball team held tight to that lead throughout the second half of the game and defeated Pleasant Valley 61-51. The Women of Troy will advance to the state tournament next week in Des Moines. As of right now, West is set to play at Wells Fargo on Monday, Feb. 26 and their opponent, as well as the time of the game, is still being determined.
