Soon, these little buds will turn into leaves. This was a recently planted tree that I thought looked very unique.

For my Photo Essay in Foundations of Journalism, I chose to photograph nature-esque photos. I grabbed my dad’s camera (after a half hour long lecture on how to use it) and walked around the woods behind my house to take some of the photos. After that, I went home and edited some of the photos to make them look better, and when my sister saw them, she groaned and said, “Wow, you’re turning into dad!”
