Kiss kiss fall in love! Although shoujo anime is often mocked and portrayed as being childish, it has an undeniable hold on all anime fans, hitting us hard with that nostalgia wave. There are many aspects to a shoujo story— bright colors, romance, catching openings that get stuck in your head; they’re all a classic. And yet, at what point did we start to move on from this cultural phenomenon?
