A: I got my PHD in music from the University of Iowa to continue learning about music education and to have the possibility to teach at the collegiate level, as well as continue to mentor other people that want to be music educators in the future. - Dr. David Haas

A: I’m passionate about music. It’s been in my family, and I’ve been singing since before I could walk. It’s just a really fun thing to do. -Lovella Varner ’27

Q: How are you preparing for finals week?

A: “I’m preparing for finals week by getting ahead on studying early for my assessments, that way I’m not cramming next week.” -Keely Weber ‘26

Q: How do you balance your schoolwork and relieve

Q: How do you balance your schoolwork and relieve stress during finals?

A: “I balance my school work by staying organized and managing my time. I use a planner to keep track of my assignments and test and I try to work on bigger projects in smaller chunks to avoid last minute stress. During finals I take short breaks and listen to music while I study and I make sure I get enough sleep.” - Iman Alnour ‘26

A: “I am excited because for the first time in two years, my brother and his fiancee are coming back to visit Iowa City! They moved to Oregon in 2022, and I haven’t seen either of them for a year. We have lots of fun things planned for the time they’ll be in town!” - Camille Crossett

A: “I would say my favorite part is definitely the community I’ve become a part of. Set crew really has its own culture that I appreciate being a part of. To contribute to something greater with my crew is something really special,” Landon Lee ‘26

A: “I’m looking forward to only having one 3rd period again instead of two; I’m also looking forward to finishing my final project for AP Computer Science Principles,” - Charlie Nelson ’24
