After placing third in last year’s team state tournament, the West girls varsity tennis team returned to their home courts April 8 to take on Dubuque Hempstead. This season, the Trojans are led by Head Coach Nina Marquardt, who previously coached Cedar Rapids Washington girls tennis. There, she led the team to team and individual titles.
