First Girl Up fundraiser offers much to West community
A fundraiser for the West High club Girl Up will provide the public with food and entertainment.

West High’s Girl Up club will host their first fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 8 from 6:30 – 9 p.m.. The fundraiser will host guest speakers, as well as food, music, a silent auction and a raffle. Admission price is $10. The event is open to the public.
Girl Up is a United Nations organization that helps girls in developing countries have access to safety, education and health.
“Girl Up is such a wonderful organization that helps so many girls and need, and our club has worked so hard to make this event be so great,” said club president Megan Schneider. “Come to eat unlimited food from places like Fuzzy’s, Z’Mariks, and Red Ginger. We also are raffling off over $3,000 worth of prizes so come for a good chance to win.”
