In the second installment of Behind the Cover, WSS staffers Kailey Gee ’22, Hanah Kitamoto ’22, Heidi Du ’23 and Soomin Koh ’22 give a behind-the-scenes look into the writing and design process for this cover story.

With a shorter cycle, which means the amount of time before we publish the paper, common issues became even more difficult to deal with — namely getting in touch with sources.
