An insight on Mrs. Winterberg
Embraced: Born in Iowa City, English teacher Mrs. Winterberg was 10 days old when she was adopted and raised in the Des Moines area. She found her way back to Iowa City after college and has lived here since.
“I was adopted. I was actually born in Iowa City," Winterberg said, "so finding my way back here is kind of cool, but I was adopted when I was 10 days old and didn't come back until I was in college.”
Prior to this project, I didn’t know much about Mrs. Winterberg, except that she’s an English teacher and her mother had Alzheimer’s disease. Throughout this project, I was given an opportunity to learn more about Mrs. Winterberg. I was able to find out more about her and produce pictures showing what I learned.
