Theatre West is officially set to have the 2023-2024 performances for SPIT (Student Producing Innovative Theatre) held on both Jan. 11th and 12th.
Held annually, SPIT gives students the opportunity to explore their creative sides and go through the theatre production process entirely on their own, all the way from writing to directing and so on. With two different short plays, separated by comedy and drama, look forward to what these West High students will bring onto the stage.
Announced at the beginning of the trimester, this year’s comedy directors will be De’Jah Jordan ’24 and Briar Martin ’24, and drama directors are Maddie Struthers ’24 and Andreas Warren ’24. The titles of the plays are “10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse” and “Ride Share Over Share,” respectively.
Auditions were held on Oct. 11th, and cast lists will be available for viewing soon. For more information, such as being part of crew, view Theatre West’s website.
