Theatre West presents ‘Beauty and the Beast’ this weekend

After a successful year of shows by Theatre West, including the recent production of Beauty and the Beast in April, the program has announced their lineup for next year’s productions.
Christmas Carol
Christmas Carol is a play that tells the story of a cold old man named Ebenezer Scrooge who has lost faith in humanity and is known to be very rude to others. Scrooge is met with the ghosts of his past, present and future. He sees the innocence of his childhood, the coldness of his present and the pain of his future if he does not change. Auditions for Christmas Carol will begin in September and take place in early December.
The Secret Garden
The Secret Garden is a musical based on the 1911 book by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The musical tells the story of a young girl named Mary Lennox who is orphaned at 10 years old due to a cholera outbreak. She is sent to Yorkshire, England, to live in a manor with her cold uncle she has never met. In Yorkshire, she meets neighbors and revives her once-dead garden. The Secret Garden will be put on in the spring of 2024.
