West High Dance Team takes on UDA Nationals

Touchdown in Orlando! After an early morning and a long travel day, the West High Dance Team lands in Orlando.
After a long travel day, it was time to enjoy the Florida weather. Kesly Wilkinson ’26, Taylor Stevens ’24, Rachel Mundt ’26 (Clear Creek Amana), and Averi Bartlett ’25 walking around Disney Springs and doing some shopping along the way.
To celebrate the final practice of the 23-24 dance team season, the West High Dance Team cerebrates at Magic Kingdom in Disney. Walking down Main street and seeing the castle after all the hard work put into the season makes it worth it.
It’s done! The West High Dance Team takes a picture in front of the ESPN globe after one final Pom performance.
After an amazing performance at Small Varsity Jazz Semi-Finals, the West High Dance Team gathered in front of the iconic ESPN Worldwide of Sport globe.
After an exciting announcement about making finals, the West High Dance Team celebrates. Led by seniors Taylor Stevens ’24 and Sigrid Rossi ’24, the team gives it their all while breaking it down.
After competing in Small Varsity Jazz Finals it was time for awards. The West High Dance Team patiently awaiting the placement results.
After an exciting final award ceremony, the West High Dance Team and their head coach Rachel Peterson celebrated their accomplishments. After receiving 18th in the nation, they had a lot to be proud of.
After a great seasons of hard work, it’s over. Seniors Taylor Stevens ’24 and Sigird Rossi ’24 at their final high school nationals.
One last night is Disney spent in Epcot at the French Fountain. The West High Dance Team takes one last picture before leaving Orlando early the next morning.
