West High’s GTC 23-24 season has officially come to an end. This year GTC had a new look with their theme “Let’s Go Fly a Kite”. With custom kite costumes and props, GTC was on their way to compete. Their first competition of the year was Prairie “Premiere” on January 27, making it to finals and placing 5th. The next stop was Norwalk “Nexus” on February 3. GTC made it to finals and placed 2nd. At CR Washington “MoShow” on February 10th, GTC made it to finals and placed 5th. Andreas Warren ‘24 took home best soloist. The final competition was Pella “Dutch Masters” on February 17th where GTC made it to finals and placed 2nd. Andreas Warren ‘24 took home best soloist once again. Finally, closing off the season, GTC hosted their annual Spring Swing show on February 25th, with a special performance from NorthWest Junior High’s show choir Intime along with special acts and ending with a senior recognition.
