On September 13th, West High teachers and staff ran a football from the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital to Iowa City West High in honor of two Kennedy High School families who recently lost children to cancer. This event drew students adorned in golden Beat Cancer from every corner of the school to celebrate and welcome the teachers back to West’s campus. The run kicked off West High’s fundraising and the preparation for its Mini-Dance Marathon.
