Tennis teams strike down Liberty Bolts 8-1

Both of West’s tennis teams defeated Liberty 8-1 on April 24.
Girls

Last year, West fell short of one match in the regular season, losing 4-5 to Liberty. This year, West was ready to redeem themselves against their cross-town rival April 24.

Sasha Postnikov ’25 battled in a close 1 Singles match, but ultimately fell in the third set tie break.

Having clinched the meet in singles, West went into doubles strong, sweeping all three matches. 3 Doubles made quick work with Wang and Gross winning their match 6-1, 6-0. Shortly after, Vasi and Singh secured a 6-2, 6-0 win at 2 Doubles. To finish the meet, 1 Doubles won 6-2, 6-4 after being down 3-4 in the second set. This win completed the meet 8-1 for West.
