West High seniors revisit their old elementary schools, celebrating the completion of their 12-year education.

West High held its annual senior recognition cerem

West High held its annual senior recognition ceremony on Monday, May 20. Scholarships, silver cord and various other awards were showcased.

The second region highlighted in the Walk it Out s

The second region highlighted in the Walk it Out series is South Asia, with students from multiple countries displaying their culture through dance and fashion.

“The South Asia region this year was extremely fun to be in and lead. I enjoyed learning the dance along with the rest of the girls and being on stage with my region co-leader, Vismitha Vuppala ’24 (I could not have done it without her!). I believe community is an essential aspect of South Asia, and being able to see everyone come together (parents and students) was both heartwarming and rewarding to witness,” Kamakshee Kuchhal ’24 said.

The first region highlighted in the Walk it Out series is Palestine 🇵🇸

Organizer Jinann Abudagga ’25 emphasized the importance of highlighting Palestine this year, in recognition of the unrest happening in the region. “The Middle East and Palestine are unique, since the Middle East has been at war and our identity is being taken from us. Almost every part of our culture is a resistance symbol. Our existence is resistance to occupation and war,” Abudagga said.
