The Coral Ridge Marcus Theater in Coralville was abuzz Thursday night in anticipation for the November 20 world premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1. West students lined up, anxiously awaiting their turn to grab a ticket to the prized 8 o’clock showing. Students flocked to the theater to see the third installment of the series. Chatter of the characters’ on screen depictions filled the lobby. “You have no idea how excited I am right now!” said Shay Raffensperger ’17. As the show quickly sold out, Raffensperger made her way to her seat, settling in to see if the movie elicited the same emotions as the book had once had.
