The boys and girls track and field teams will be competing at the Drake Relays in Des Moines starting on Thursday, April 23. The boys team qualified in the 4 x 100 meter relay, 4 x 200 meter relay, 4 x 800 meter relay and the 1600 meter medley relay. The girls team qualified in the 4 x 100 meter relay, the 4 x 100 meter shuttle-hurdle relay and the 800 meter medley relay. Individual qualifiers are Valerie Welch ’17 in the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles, Bailey Nock ’18 in the 800 meters, 1500 meters and 3000 meters, Leah Dusterhoft ’17 in discus and Zainab Makky ’16 in shot put.
