Iowa City leaders hosted the first Speak Up, Speak Out event at Wetherby Park on June 3. The series of events taking place across Iowa City encourages members of the community to speak up about their concerns and have their voices heard by community leaders, including Mayor Bruce Teague, Johnson Country Supervisor Royceann Porter and Mayor Pro Tem Mazahir Salih. City leaders will host two more of these events at Pheasant Ridge on Friday and Mercer Park on Saturday.
