Teachers relive prom
Prom is coming up fast but West High teachers have been there and done that.

Prom is an iconic and classic experience for most teenagers. Everyone looks forward to the moment when they can dress up and have a good time at the end of the year. It’s a great way to honor all the work that the upperclassmen have accomplished in their high school years. This year, West is having prom on May 7 and the theme is enchanted garden, but what most people don’t think of is that prom has been going on for longer than you’d think. The first prom was in 1928 and it comes from the word promenade. That’s the fancy word for the formal announcement of people at parties. No matter how old you might think your teachers are, none of them are that old. Here’s a photo gallery of your teachers when they went to Prom however many years ago.
