Jay’s jots: no tardy December
West High students are facing the decision between being fashionably late, or just plain fashionable with new West High apparel, Airpods and more during ‘No Tardy December’.
With the prize of Airpods or a shiny new Macbook at the end, students have many incentives to get to class in time this December. ‘No Tardy December’, a competition put in place by West High administration, rewards students and classes alike for getting to all of their classes on time. While tardiness might be going down, the requirement to get passes everywhere you go in fear of getting “sweeped” encourages more unexcused absences from the Trojans. Will West High persevere?
