Friday the thirteenth, black cats and broken mirrors. What do these things have in common? In western culture, they are all considered bad luck. Friday the thirteenth has been considered unlucky for well over a century. It is not certain why all the superstitious sounding the day sprung up. Explanations include a conjunction of the holiday Good Friday and the number of people at the last supper in christian religious tradition. While there’s no evidence Friday the thirteenth is any more unlucky than any other day, beliefs and superstition continue to exist. What about you? Do you have anything to worry about this Friday the thirteenth? Take this quiz to find out.
