Stillness is very common during the early morning. Colors look to take on a dull blue-ish tint and everything looks cold. Most people usually don’t pay attention to small details in their surroundings around an hour after sunrise. A lot of sights can only be seen in dull areas, where even the most active places could appear desolate. Of course, a lot of things tend to take shape once the sun pops out, but clouds can easily create sights with completely different feelings.
Though the tree has yet to completely regain its leaves and color, it can still create rather interesting sights when paired with the right lighting. On most days, the light that falls on the tree doesn’t do much. The lighting on that day was perfect enough to create an image of the tree looking much more like a silhouette in broad daylight. Combined with the shadow of the trunk, the tree itself can appear as though there is something waiting below its surface.
