Eleanor’s Photo Essay
Spring has always been my favorite season. It’s a season of new growth, new warmth, and new beginnings. Most have heard the phrase ‘April showers bring May flowers’ said in some kind of explanatory way or with disdain for the April showers. I’m sitting here in the rain right now writing this and I think that the April showers are just as beautiful as the May flowers. I think everything about spring is beautiful and I tried my very best to convey that by taking the pictures below. I never have had much interest in photography but during this unit I realized I had a lot of fun walking around my neighbourhood searching for the perfect picture. There’s a certain thrill and pride that comes with looking through your pictures and realizing you have one that’s just right. So even though writing is “my thing”, photography is something I’ll keep my mind open to now because of this experience.
