Cross country teams place second at Cedar Rapids Washington Invite

The boys and girls cross country runners traveled to Cedar Rapids to compete with 20 teams during the Cedar Rapids Washington Invite on Thurs, Sept 11. Both varsity teams finished with 2nd place overall. In addition, both teams had two runners finish in the top ten of the varsity races. As of Sept 14, the boys team is ranked 4th in the state and the girls are ranked 2nd behind Ames.

Boys: 5th- 16:06.14 Akash Borde ’15, 8th- 16:16.25 Nick Feeley ’16

Girls: 4th- 14:28.92 Emmie Skopec ’16, 8th- 14:48.20 Bailey Nock ’18
