Arganbright Auditorium filled with song and dance March 1 as West High’s Showtime and Good Time Company show choirs combined with Northwest Middle School’s In-Time show choir for their final performance of the season.

The show began with In-Time performing “O Fortuna,” “Space Cowboy,” “Galaxies” and “Made from the Stars.” Fourteen singers performed solos throughout. After In-Time, multiple individual and small acts were performed. West’s junior varsity show choir Showtime went next, performing a video game-inspired program, with solos from Mieka Hedt ’28, Isaac Nelson ’29, Josslyn Jordan ’29, Camden Vaughn ’29 and Mar Nourski ’29.

The show was finished with more small performances before the varsity Good Time Company performed to a Minecraft-inspired show, singing and dancing to a variety of songs that included altered versions of popular songs and “Minecraft” parodies. Five members had solos, including seniors Eva Ortega Lopez and Derick Doresca.

After the program, 14 seniors were recognized. Auditions for next year’s show choirs will be held from March 11-13. More information about West’s choirs can be found at https://www.iowacitywestchoirs.com/.
