With the Johnson County positivity rate dropping to 8.2% as of Sept. 18, the ICCSD announced that the hybrid learning model will begin on Monday, Sept. 28. Additionally, the district has been granted permission to begin in-person co-curricular and athletic activities starting Saturday, Sept. 26.

“We will follow the hybrid calendar, beginning with the ‘A’ group on-site Monday (9/28) and Tuesday (9/29) and the ‘B’ group on-site Wednesday (9/30), Thursday (10/1), and Friday (10/2). The schedule will then rotate each week as detailed in the calendar,” the district wrote in an email on Sept. 18.

The district will abide by the event attendance guidelines from August regarding athletic and extracurricular events. Resumed activities will include previously scheduled competitions and practices. Bus schedules for hybrid students will be released via a PowerSchool letter by Sept. 21. Visit the district’s hybrid website for more details.
