After a successful season, the West High Show Choirs will perform for the final time in their annual Swing into Spring show on Feb. 28.

These shows will be at 2 PM and 5:30 PM in the West High School auditorium. Both Showtime and Good Time Company will present their sets, joined by the Northwest Junior High show choir at 2 PM and the North Central Junior High show choir at 5:30 PM. Other special acts from students will take place as well. Tickets are $8.

There will be deserts in the cafeteria between the two shows from 3:30-5 PM. After the 5:30 PM showing, there will be a senior recognition ceremony.

The show choirs have competed in four competitions this season. Showtime, the prep show choir, placed second at both Davenport’s “Great River” competition and Benton’s “A Touch of Class”, first at Lincoln East’s “Spartan Spectacular 2016” and fifth at Muscatine’s River City Showcase. Good Time Company, the varsity show choir, placed sixth at Davenport, third at Benton, second at Lincoln East and third at Muscatine.
